How can I have a session with you?
We provide individual and group therapy in-person in Hamilton, New Jersey and/or virtual telehealth for individuals across all of New Jersey. It’s up to you!
Do you accept insurance?
Clinicians of Guide to Grow Therapy LLC are currently in-network with Aetna, Horizon, Cigna, United, and Optum health plans. The practice is not able to accept any Medicaid or Medicare versions of these insurance plans. Guide To Grow Therapy LLC uses a billing company, Headway. I understand that Headway is a separate business organization from the psychotherapy practice Guide To Grow Therapy LLC. All insurance claims are handled by Headway. All clients who use insurance are required to have an active credit card on file with Headway and will be charged the day of session for all co-pays or missed appointments.
Do you accept out-of-network patients?
Many health insurance plans offer out of network benefits. If your treating clinician is out-of network with your insurance company, you may be able to use your out-of-network. In order to find out what they are, contact your insurance company. If you will be utilizing your out-of-network benefits, you should be prepared to pay the full fee of your appointment at the time of your visit through Simple Practice EHR. Guide To Grow Therapy LLC will provide you with a monthly Superbill through Simple Practice EHR that will be emailed to you at the end of each month. You may submit this Superbill to your health insurance plan for reimbursement. Guide To Grow Therapy LLC is not responsible for reimbursement from your health plan, but will make reasonable accommodations to assist you with your claims.
What is your self-pay fee structure?
Guide To Grow Therapy LLC Self-Pay Fees:
• $130 for a 45 minute psychotherapy session
• $160 for a 60 minute psychotherapy session
• $180 for a 60 minute initial intake evaluation
How long are your appointments?
Initial intake evaluation appointments are 60 minutes long. The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 60 minutes. It is up to you, however, to determine the length of time of your sessions. Requests to change the 60 minute session needs to be discussed with the therapist in order for time to be scheduled in advance. The standard frequency of appointments is once per week in order to provide clients with the best practices of clinical care. Therapy sessions may be scheduled less frequently on a case-by-case basis. Please be advised if you do not meet with your therapist at least once per month you may be at risk of being discharged.
What is your cancellation policy?
Guide to Grow Therapy LLC has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Patients credit cards will be charged a cancellation fee of $100 for any session that is not canceled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. Sessions can be canceled via the SimplePractice Client Portal, email, phone, voice message, or text message. The late cancellation fee may be waived if patient is able to reschedule within 1 week of the missed appointment. Rescheduling a missed appointment is based on the therapist’s availability. It is possible there may not be an available time slot to reschedule my missed appointment and if not able to reschedule, patient will be charged the late cancellation fee of $100.
